Crumpet's Laid-Back 31DC: Merge or Melt

Hello!

Today's 31 Day Challenge Prompt is "Merge or Melt", so I did a gradient of polishes merging together!

Outdoors, shade, no flash.
I started with a base of Sinful Colors Nail Hardener and two coats of Essie Sand Tropez. Then I used a make-up sponge to make the gradient with Sand Tropez and China Glaze Fast Track. I finished this off with one coat of Seche Vite. The gold shimmer in Fast Track is gorgeous, but I couldn't get it off my fingers! Messy clean-up couldn't be avoided... some is STILL on there after scrubbing!

Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Once dry, I stamped a coral butterfly over my neutral gradient. I love the colors in this mani. Color Club Wildflower was used for my stamping polish, and the butterfly came from Bundle Monster plate BM-303. I messed up index finger pretty phenomenally, so she got cropped out. I didn't have an easy time stamping. I'm not sure what the issue was today, and I was too impatient to experiment to figure it out. So, maybe that was the reason! Better luck next time!

Let's see what the others did! More soon! ^_^

Stash Swatch Initiative: AEngland She Walks In Beauty

Hello!

AEngland She Walks In Beauty. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Today I have AEngland She Walks In Beauty to show you.

AEngland She Walks In Beauty. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
For swatches today, I've layered one coat of She Walks In Beauty plus one coat of NYC In a New York Minute over Monday's swatch of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu! This turned out incredible! She Walks In Beauty is packed with gold shimmer, small gold hexes, and bigger pink hexes. It's really unique, and I love it over Don't Touch My Tutu!!! This applied easily.

I think the She Walks In Beauty could reach opacity easily on it's own, but I think this combination is fabulous! It was hard to photograph; I feel like most of the shots didn't capture the glowy, gorgeousness I saw in person. This one in the shade is the best, most true to life. I want to go put it back on right now! Love!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Siren Song

Hello!

More Rainbow Honey today! Yay!

Rainbow Honey Siren Song. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
This is Siren Song. Siren Song is packed with blue and gold shimmer. It is so shimmery, it almost looks metallic in some lighting. There are also tiny, blue holographic glitters; medium black hexes; large, gold holographic hexes; and small, blue holographic bar glitters. No issues with the formula here.

As with previous Rainbow Honey polishes, I swatched this first over a few different polishes since it is so versatile. I layered one coat of Siren Song over Sally Hansen Black Out on my index finger; Zoya Midori on my middle finger, Milani White on the Spot on my pinkie; and Zoya Robyn on my thumb. My ring finger shoes two coats of Siren Song on its own. All swatches today used a base of Seche Clear and were finished with one coat of Gelous plus NYC In a New York Minute.

Much like Dearly Beloved before it, I liked Siren Song best over Zoya Robyn, so I've shown it as a full swatch as well. I purchased this bottle directly from Rainbow Honey's website.
