GOT Polish Challenge: Stripes

Hello!

Today's GOT Polish Challenge prompt is "Stripes"!

I used my two picks from last year's Hologlam Collection from China Glaze, Strap on Your Moon Boots and When Stars Collide. These are not quite a year old, but close. I think that collection came out in March or early April. Anyway, I swatched them once and never wore them again... what a shame!

Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
I started with a base coat combination of Duri Rejuvacote and Sinful Colors Nail Hardener. After that, I layered on one coat of When Stars Collide, and topped it with one coat of Seche Vite. When that was dry, I used striping tape to create the look and one coat of Strap on Your Moonboots. Once the tape was removed, I used another generous coat of Seche Vite.

Outdoors, sunlight, no flash.
This turned out clean and crisp. I love how the two polishes work together, but the holo is so subtle!

Here are the rest of the participants' take on the prompt:

Stash Swatch Initiative: Colors by Llarowe Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Hello!

Today I have my first Colors by Llarowe! This is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is a fabulous midnight-blue jelly with large flecks of silver shimmer.

Swatches today are a base of Seche Clear, two coats of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and one coat of NYC In a New York Minute. This polish has a nice formula which caused no application issues.

This polish is beautiful! You really get that nice, night sky effect. The blue jelly base turns the deeper silver shimmers blue which gives it a nice depth and a beautiful sparkle! This polish is said to be a near-dupe of a famed polish, Essie Starry Night. Now, my polish obsession took hold long after the Essie was nothing but a memory. I missed out on that craze, but if this polish is anything like it, no wonder! Love it!

I purchased my bottle directly from Llarowe, where it is currently out of stock. I recommend following their Facebook page as they often run awesome sales, deals, and flash promos. Any and all new polishes and restocks are also announced over there.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Bubble Beam

Hello, hello!

Today's polish is Bubble Beam from Rainbow Honey!

Rainbow Honey Bubble Beam. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Bubble Beam is a beautiful light, sheer blue jelly loaded with iridescent and purple shimmer; pale, blue square glitter; iridescent squares; and small, iridescent hexes. It is absolutely beautiful in the bottle!

Swatches today are a base coat of Seche Clear and, since I didn't know how best to layer, an ombre of blues. I used Revlon Blue Lagoon, Zoya Robyn, Contrary Polish Santorini, Zoya Ibiza, and Cult Nails Nevermore (on my thumb). I used one coat of Bubble Beam over each, plus one coat of Gelous and one of NYC In a New York Minute. I had no issues with application.

Base polishes! Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Bubble Beam is so pretty in the bottle, but I feel like this swatch has fallen short. I found it too sheer to build up to opacity, and none of my layering choices lived up to what I was expecting. There is magic in this bottle, I just haven't figured out how to get it out yet....

I purchased my bottle directly from Rainbow Honey's website. It was a limited edition I missed out on the first time, but they brought it back and it is currently available!
