Stash Swatch Initiative: Julie G Rock Candy

Hello!! Today I have a sneak-peak from tomorrow's April haul post! This is Julie G Rock Candy!

Julie G Rock Candy. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Rock Candy is a textured polish. I am LOVING this trend, and I can't get enough of it. I was so pleased to find the Julie G display stocked at my local Rite Aid!

Rock Candy is a pretty, sea-green with silver shimmer and silver glitter. The silver shimmer gives this a slightly frosty appearance... so I guess the collection, Frosted Gumdrops, is aptly named! :) The texture is actually rather fine; it's a finer grain than the first OPI Liquid Sands, if my memory serves me well. It's a nice polish and a different take on this new trend.

Swatches are a base coat of Duri Rejuvacote and two coats of Rock Candy. No issues with this polish. Well done!

Oofda! This one is phenomenal. The light bend has a gorgeous blue cast to it from the blue jelly base. It really looks like a star-filled night sky. Insta-galaxy nails!

Swatches today are a base coat of Seche Clear, two effortless coats of Cosmos, and one finishing coat of NYC In a New York Minute. Total love!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri

Hi!

Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Today I have a lovely glitter polish waiting to astound you! This is Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri.

Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri. Outdoors, sunlight, no flash.
Sakura Matsuri is a delicate blend of iridescent glitter; small, deep pink glitter; and large, flower-shaped glitters in satiny white and satiny pink. The overall effect is light, airy, and very pretty. I chose to layer this over a base of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!, which pairs perfectly with the delicate nature of this glitter topper.

Swatches today are a base coat of Sinful Colors Nail Hardener, three coats of Don't Touch My Tutu!, one coat of Sakura Matsuri (larger glitters were purposefully placed, but no fishing required), one coat of Seche Vite, and, finally, one coat of NYC In a New York Minute. No issues with this polish!

The iridescent glitters are what send this over the top for me. They are gorgeous! Both in the sun and in the shade. Sparkly!
