I have a holographic topper from Cult Nails to show you today. This is Mayhem!

Mayhem can turn any polish into a holographic polish without altering the base color too much. It's really quite marvelous.

I wanted to show this over a variety of colors, so swatches today started with a base coat of Seche Clear, and the following polishes (thumb to pinkie): Essie Armed and Ready, Zoya Ibiza, Zoya Arizona, Pure Ice Wild Thing, and Color Club Gossip Column. One coat of Mayhem was added to each, and then everything was topped with NYC In a New York  Minute. Formula is great -- glides on smoothly, no issues.

I love how it melds into the brighter/lighter polishes, but still pops in the sun.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Cult Nails Flushed

Hello!

Today's polish is Flushed from Cult Nails.

Cult Nails Flushed. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Flushed is a beautiful, sheer grape-purple polish laced with a heavy orange/copper shimmer.

Swatches today are one coat of Sinful Colors Base Coat, three coats of Flushed, and one coat of NYC In a New York Minute. The formula is sheer, but builds easily. I had no problems with application.

The shimmer is what makes this polish so great! Check it out in the sun!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Cult Nails Nevermore

Hello!

A quick post today for Cult Nails Nevermore!

Cult Nails Nevermore. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Nevermore is a basic, black creme, but it is a fantastic black creme. The formula on this is superb. It self-levels perfectly. Swatches today are a base of Duri Rejuvacote, one coat of Nevermore, and one coat of Seche Vite. One coat! This is by far the best black polish I've tried. It is opaque and creamy and applies without streaking. I'd have to say the exact opposite of my other black polish, Sally Hansen Black Out.

We all need a black creme, and Cult Nails Nevermore is THE black polish to have. I purchased mine recently from their store.

Quickie post! I have Cult Nails Scandalous. A great summery shade!

Scandalous is a coral jelly polish that I found wanders between orange and pink depending on the light. It has a great formula, which self-levels beautifully.

Swatches today are a base of Seche Clear, three coats of Scandalous, and one coat of Orly Sec'n'Dry. Three coats provided great coverage, and if my nails were their normal, shorter selves, would be perfect. Long as they are, three coats still had me with some visible nail line, but that was okay by me. How cute might this be with white tips underneath?

Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

As part of my epic Cult Nails Haul, I picked up Cruisin' Nude.

Cruisin' Nude is a warm neutral with pink shimmer. I was so excited for this one, I thought the delicate pink shimmer made this so gorgeous! I think the base color is a little too yellow for me, so it doesn't look as awesome on me as I had hoped. Maybe this summer after a tan? Oh wait... I don't tan....

Anyway, I've used a base coat of Seche Clear, two coats of Cruisin' Nude, and one coat of Seche Vite. As I've come to expect from Cult Nails, the formula on this is superb. Zero issues, self-levels, couldn't be better. You can find it here!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Cult Nails Charlatan

This Cult Nails Charlatan.

Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

So, this is a super fun layering polish. It is loaded with duochrome flecks, which cause a different effect depending on what you layer it over. Over dark polish, Charlatan creates a pink to purple to blue duochrome shimmer.

I chose to show this over the Cult Nails Vicious swatch from last week. This is just one coat of Charlatan plus Seche Vite over the base purple of Vicious. It's so shimmery, it almost looks metallic to me.

Charlatan completely transforms that creme polish into something else! I'm so excited about this because it's sort of like doubling your stash--what other looks can I create when I layer this over other polish?

Charlatan is a limited edition shade along with it's sisters in the Deceptive Collection. All of which are topcoats of this nature. I couldn't resist getting four of the five, so look for those swatches here in the future. In the meantime, check out Cult Nails here!

I have another lovely Cult Nails creation today. This is Vicious!

Vicious is a vampy, deep purple creme. This is really dark but never looks black. It is a solid, basic color to have, and even though, I didn't intend to purchase it in December's haul, I'm really glad I did. Best mistake ever! :]

Swatches today are a base coat of Seche Clear, two coats of Vicious, and one coat of Seche Vite. Let's talk formula. This is fantastic. It self levels in two easy coats. It's great! We couldn't ask for better.

We're starting the week off with a fabulous pink! This is Cult Nails Untamed.

This is like the pink equivalent of a perfect sky blue. I absolutely love this pink crelly. It has fine iridescent shimmer in it, not too much. It's a rather sparse sprinkling, but adds so much to the polish. Such a happy color!

The formula on this is fantastic. The first coat is a nice even, blush. A second adds depth, and a third makes this opaque. You could wear it at any opacity and it would be lovely, but for swatches today I have used three coats of Untamed over Sinful Colors Nail Hardener, and topped it off with one coat of Seche Vite.

I am so excited to show you this one! I finally placed a Cult Nails order last month, and this beauty is from the newest collection. This is Cult Nails Bitten!

Isn't is great? For swatches today, I've used a base of Sinful Colors Nail Hardener, three coats of Bitten, and finished with one coat of Seche Vite. The formula is wonderful--the first coat was a bit streaky but it evens itself out with two coats, and the third was just to deepen that lovely cranberry color.

The matching shimmer in the jelly base is gorgeous out in the sun!
