Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Petit Four

Hello!

I'm still here! I wanted to show you this swatch of Rainbow Honey Petit Four, since it is part of the brand new collection, La Patisserie, that launches tonight!

Rainbow Honey Petit Four. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Petit Four is a cute, glitter polish with a pale yellow base. I love the glitter mix here. I see light blue, coral, and pink glitter in a variety of shapes along with a sprinkle of pink shimmer. Swatches today are one coat of Petit Four over a base of Sinful Colors Unicorn, then one coat of Seche Vite. I didn't have any problems with the application, and I thought this was the perfect glitter coverage.

My mini bottle came in the mystery bag from May of last year, and while I haven't seen any swatches of the new collection yet, I would assume that this is the same polish. The new collection launches in just a few hours over at Rainbow Honey!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey 488nm

Hello!

Rainbow Honey 488nm. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Today's polish is from one of Rainbow Honey's Mystery Bags, so I do not believe this is available at the moment. This is 488nm - a bright, aqua-blue creme.

Rainbow Honey 488nm. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are one coat of Sinful Colors Base Coat, two coats of 488nm, and one coat of NYC In a New York Minute. This applies beautifully. It flows nicely onto the nail and stands up to quite a bit of manipulation. I had no problems with it whatsoever.

Rainbow Honey 488nm. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

As I mentioned above, this polish is not available at the moment. It was part of Rainbow Honey's Mystery bag that I purchased in August and may or may not be released at a future date. Zoya Robyn looks to be a very close match to it, however.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Modern Hearts

Hello!

Today, I have Rainbow Honey Modern Hearts to show you!

Rainbow Honey Modern Hearts. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Modern Hearts is a glitter topper in a clear base. For glitters, I see neon pink hexes and squares, mango-colored hexes, light yellow hexes, tiny white hexes, and white hearts. There is also iridescent shimmer, which I've come to expect and love from Rainbow Honey polishes.

Rainbow Honey Modern Hearts. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are one coat over yesterday's Maybelline Bleached in Peach swatch plus two coats of topcoat. This applied nicely, and I didn't see the need to dab. I did, however, place the hearts purposefully.

Rainbow Honey Modern Hearts. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Modern Hearts came in my mystery bag so I'm not sure if this will be available for purchase on it's own. Keep an eye out at Rainbow Honey for new releases!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Viridis

Hello!

Today's polish is Rainbow Honey Viridis!

Rainbow Honey Viridis. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Viridis is an awesome glitter topper. The base is packed with iridescent shimmer, aqua circles, lilac circles, neon stars, and a few iridescent hex glitters. It created a neat, cartoon-like galaxy look over my dark base polish.

Rainbow Honey Viridis. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are one swiped on coat, plus some dabbing, over yesterday's China Glaze History of the World swatch. I used two coats of topcoat to seal in the glitter. I didn't have any problems with application, but I did take care to place the stars where I wanted them.

Rainbow Honey Viridis. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Viridis came in July's Mystery Bag, so I'm not sure if or when it will be available again. Keep an eye out for Rainbow Honey's future offerings as it just might make the cut into a future collection! I purchased my mystery bag from Rainbow Honey, and they offer a monthly subscription service. I think it's really fun to get a little surprise package every month, so I am really glad Rainbow Honey offered it this way.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Elevate

***Products in this post were sent for review!***

Hello!

Today, I have my full review of Rainbow Honey Elevate from the new Summer Mixtape! collection.

Rainbow Honey Elevate. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Elevate is a crazy mix of glitters in an iridescent shimmer packed base. Too many glitters to list! See for yourself!

Rainbow Honey Elevate. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are one brushed on coat of Elevate plus some dabbing over a black creme base, Cult Nails Nevermore. I topped this with two coats of topcoat to smooth out all that glitter. I found that this applied very easily, and the glitter readily came out on the brush.

Rainbow Honey Elevate. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

I swatched this one over black so the iridescent shimmer would stand out. I love that added pop of purple iridescence.

My bottle was sent for review, but you can get one from Rainbow Honey. There's a promo code good to the end of August for 20% off, use MIXTAPE20

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Work It Out

***Products in this post were sent for review!***

Hello!

Rainbow Honey Work It Out. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Today's post is the lovely Rainbow Honey Work It Out.

I love this dreamy coral creme! It is has a vintage feel, and I think it's absolutely great.

Rainbow Honey Work It Out. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are two coats of Work It Out over a coat of Sinful Colors Base Coat. I topped this with one coat of NYC In a New York Minute topcoat for extra shine. This polish is very nice and fluid, so it glides on smoothly without any issues.

Rainbow Honey Work It Out. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

My bottle was sent to me for review, but if you love it as much as I do, you can find it here. It is a part of Rainbow Honey's newest collection, Summer Mixtape! And, as I said yesterday, use the promo code MIXTAPE20 for twenty percent off your order until the end of August!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey One Minute More

****Products in this post were sent for review!***

Hello!

Today, I've got my full review of Rainbow Honey's One Minute More.

Rainbow Honey One Minute More. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

One Minute More is a daffodil yellow with a lot of pink shimmer. It's hard to determine, but I think there is also some green and gold shimmer amidst all that pink.

Rainbow Honey One Minute More. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches are one coat of Sinful Colors Base Coat, two coats of One Minute More, and one coat of NYC In a New York Minute. Formula on this polish is fantastic for a yellow. It is opaque but not streaky, yet odd. I wouldn't say this is a creme-based polish, but that is the overall look of it. It is strangely thick and almost textured, not very fluid at all, but that's what makes it apply so well, I think. It does dry smooth, but it is very strange.

Rainbow Honey One Minute More. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

My bottle was sent for review but can be purchased from Rainbow Honey. It is a part of their recent Summer Mixtape! collection, and I was given a promo code to share that is good to the end of the month: MIXTAPE20

NOTW: Secret Garden

Hello!

I am fail blogger again! But I regret nothing, Azeroth needed me! I'm a hero, don't you know? ^_^

So, since I've been playing too much World of Warcraft and don't have any pictures edited for this week, let's go all the way back to January in Maryland when I wore this beautiful mani.

Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

This started with my normal base coat combination. Then, I used two coats of Zoya Odette, which was then topcoated with Qtica Extending Topcoat. After a lot of dry time, I stamped the swirls with AEngland St. George. The glitter accents are the fabulous, Rainbow Honey Metalmark. Lastly, I used one coat of NYC In a New York Minute to seal everything in. I totally loved this look so much. I might have to revisit it!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Sea Star

Hello!

Today I have a fantastic polish to show you! This is Rainbow Honey Sea Star - June's Limited Edition!

Rainbow Honey Sea Star. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Sea Star is a phenomenal glitter topper in a clear base packed with iridescent shimmer. The glitter mix in this is perfectly aquatic: Aqua and mint hexes, circles, and squares. A few small, yellow hexes are in there as well, and the finishing touch, coral stars. Sea Star brings to mind images of a tropical lagoon and sandy beaches. It's perfect for a cute beachy mani!

Rainbow Honey Sea Star. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Swatches today are one and a half coats of Sea Star over Zoya Chantal plus two coats of topcoat. I applied this by swiping one coat of polish on then going back to dab on and place the stars and larger glitter where I wanted it. The formula is good, and I had no problems with application.

I purchased my bottle from Rainbow Honey, where it is still available.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey All My Stars

Hello!

Rainbow Honey All My Stars. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

Today's swatch is Rainbow Honey All My Stars!

Rainbow Honey All My Stars. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.

All My Stars is a fun glitter topper in a clear base. There's a lot of pastel, satin glitter in there -- pinks, blues, and yellows, but what takes this polish over the top is the addition of the brighter glitters. There are bright yellow, coral, and purple stars too. Rainbow Honey makes genius-level color combinations. I'd never, ever think to throw in some brights with pastels, but this polish really works. There is a gorgeous bit of purple shimmer in here as well.

Rainbow Honey All My Stars. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Swatches today are one heavily manipulated/dabbed coat over yesterday's Cirque Vaudeville swatch. I topped this off with one thick coat of Gelous plus one thick coat of Seche Vite to smooth out the glitter. My mani bubbled a bit, which I don't think is very apparent in these photos. This was my fault because I was impatient and had very important ice cream to go eat! ^_^ Anyway, you'll definitely want to dab this polish on and keep an orange stick handy to nudge the stars to where you want them.

Rainbow Honey All My Stars. Outdoors, sunlight light, no flash.

This is one of Rainbow Honey's Limited Editions -- but it's still available on their website!

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey The Power of Love

Hello!

I have another gorgeous Rainbow Honey Limited Edition to show you today! This is Rainbow Honey The Power of Love.

Rainbow Honey The Power of Love. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
I actually swatched this polish last August. Yes, five months ago. This, and tomorrow's polish, were the last two I ended up swatching at our old house. In the crazyness that was September, I forgot all about this beauty. When I finally rediscovered the pictures, it was late enough in the year that I decided to just schedule them for February -- fitting, I think!

Anyway, The Power of Love is a gorgeous light pink base loaded with glitter and shimmer. I see hex glitters in multiple sizes... fuchsia, gold, indigo, lavender, and light blue. There are large satin hearts, and the whole thing is laced with gold shimmer. I wore this as a full mani and really enjoyed the delicate look.

Rainbow Honey The Power of Love. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
I don't have any notes on this swatch that I can find, so I'm going to do my best to guess at them based on what I was typically using at that point. So, I think these swatches were a base of Sinful Color Nail Hardener, two coats of Zoya Nikki, one swiped on coat of The Power of Love (hearts likely places purposefully, however), one coat of Gelous, and one of Seche Vite. Zoya Nikki actually matched the base of this polish closely. I don't recall having any issues with application.

Rainbow Honey The Power of Love. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
I purchased this polish directly from Rainbow Honey's website, however, since it was limited edition, it is no longer available. They have brought previous LEs back one time before, so if that were to happen, the announcement would likely be made via their Facebook page.

Stash Swatch Initiative: Rainbow Honey Metalmark

Hello!

I have the other Rainbow Honey sneak peek polish to show you today! This one is Metalmark!

Rainbow Honey Metalmark. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Metalmark is a gorgeous clear-based glitter topper. It might be a contender for my favorite glitter polish! There are small, bright blue-green hexes; large bright blue-green hexes, and microglitter in the same bright blue-green color. There are also small light green hexes, and silver holographic butterflies. But what makes this truly stunning, is the purple shimmer this polish is laced with. It's super gorgeous, and it's exactly what Rainbow Honey does so well. This polish is crazy beautiful, a little wild, and complicated. The purple is an unexpected pop of color, and it totally makes this polish stand out above the rest.

Rainbow Honey Metalmark, matte. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Swatches today are a little more complicated than usual. I started with a base of Seche Clear and a two color ombre of: Zoya Odette, Zoya Rue, Zoya Chantal, China Glaze Re-fresh Mint, and OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui.

Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
After that, I used one coat of Metalmark, and topped it all with the usual, Gelous plus NYC In a New York Minute. Good formula, no issues. I took care to place the butterflies, but otherwise easy application.

Rainbow Honey Metalmark. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
This polish is a mini that was a part of a mystery grab bag that was included in my most recent order. Super fun! I loved this polish so much, I took so many pictures! I love it mattified too!

Rainbow Honey Metalmark. Indoors, artificial light, no flash.
Metalmark isn't available for purchase yet. It is going to be a part of Rainbow Honey's upcoming spring collection.
